Day 1: Arrival in Colombo
Upon arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to your vehicle to begin your holiday in Sri Lanka. Your first destination will be the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness and learn about the lives of elephants up close. Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dambulla Cave Temple, which houses over 150 Buddha statues and stunning murals. After exploring these sites, travel to Sigiriya, where you will check in to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 2: Kandy Trip
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a road trip to Kandy. En route, visit the 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring ancient ruins, gardens, and frescoes. Upon reaching Kandy, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, embark on a city tour of Kandy, visiting Market Square, the Arts & Crafts Centre, the Gem Museum, and the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses a revered relic of the Buddha. Return to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 3: Explore Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as "Little England" due to its cool climate and colonial architecture. Enjoy breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains, and tea plantations. Visit the town’s main attractions, including the golf course, Victoria Park, and Lake Gregory, where you can enjoy boating or fishing. Explore Seetha Eliya Temple, a site linked to the epic Ramayana, and stroll through Hakgala Botanical Garden. After a full day of exploration, spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 4: Mesmerizing Bentota
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Bentota, a coastal town known for its beautiful beaches and water sports. Indulge in activities like jet skiing, banana boat rides, and tubing. Take a scenic boat ride on the Madu River, enjoying a delicious lunch and observing local wildlife and traditional villages. Day 5: Colombo City Tour
After breakfast, leave for Colombo and check in to your hotel upon arrival. Explore the vibrant city of Colombo, visiting historical sites like the Colombo Clock Tower, colonial-era buildings, the bustling Pettah Bazaar, and several significant museums, including the Colombo National Museum and the Dutch Museum. Visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, the new Parliament, and posh residential areas. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some personal time for shopping or exploring Colombo at your own pace. The tour concludes with a transfer to the airport, where you will depart with fond memories of your Sri Lankan adventure.
